The Scottish Government

Citizens Advice Direct secured funding from the Scottish Government to expand the service throughout Scotland by 2011.  The service aims to assist 45,000 clients in 2009/10.  It will extend the telephone service to Bureaux and other advice providers consistent with the capacity and aim to recruit and train 120 volunteer advisers and to become an SQA Assessor Centre begin to deliver Telephone Advice SVQ.

 

The Big Lottery

Citizens Advice Direct have secured funding from The Big Lottery for 5 years from 2008-2013.  It will provide advice and information to young people, particularly students and those leaving school and home, people in debt, people with employment issues and create high quality volunteering opportunities.
